Cassie Werber

Cassie Werber is a journalist, writer and editor. She is currently a UK-based reporter for Quartz.

She co-runs Hacks Hackers London, a meet-up group for journalists, technologists, and those that span both fields.

Previously Cassie was an energy reporter at The Wall Street Journal, between 2012 and 2014.  She was an editor at Financial News, and has written for a number of international publications including The Economist, MarketWatch, the Guardian, ZDF, the Holland Times, Ukrainian Week, Total Theatre Magazine and News 21. She lived in France in 2007, Denmark and the Netherlands in 2009-10 and the US for part of 2011.

In 2011 Cassie completed a Masters in Global Journalism, awarded jointly by City University, London and Aarhus University, Denmark. She specialised in business and finance.
